Every Velune Lux piece deserves a little care. Jewellery can naturally change over time depending on its materials, how often it is worn and its exposure to moisture, cosmetics and chemicals.

Following these simple care recommendations can help preserve the appearance and finish of your jewellery for longer.

EVERYDAY CARE

Avoid Water & Moisture

Unless a product is specifically described as suitable for water exposure, we recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, bathing or exercising.

Apply Beauty Products First

Perfume, hairspray, lotions, creams and cosmetics may affect jewellery finishes over time.

Apply these products before putting on your jewellery and allow them to dry where possible.

Avoid Chemicals

Remove your jewellery before cleaning or using household products. Avoid direct contact with chlorine, cleaning products and other harsh chemicals.

Handle With Care

Jewellery featuring cubic zirconia, crystals, pearls or other decorative details should be handled gently to help prevent scratches, impact or damage.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY

For regular cleaning, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, clean and dry cloth after wearing it.

Avoid abrasive cloths, harsh cleaning products or chemical jewellery cleaners unless they are specifically suitable for the materials of your piece.

For jewellery featuring stones, crystals or pearls, avoid soaking the piece unless the individual product instructions specifically state that it is suitable to do so.

STORING YOUR JEWELLERY

Store your jewellery in a clean, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.

Where possible:

Store pieces separately to reduce scratching and tangling.
Fasten necklaces and bracelets before storing them.
Keep jewellery away from bathrooms and other humid environments.
Use a jewellery pouch, box or soft-lined compartment.

PLATED & GOLD-TONE JEWELLERY

Some Velune Lux designs feature plated or gold-tone finishes.

Plated finishes can naturally change over time depending on wear, skin chemistry, exposure to moisture and contact with cosmetics or chemicals.

To help preserve the finish:

Avoid prolonged exposure to water.
Avoid perfume and lotions directly on the jewellery.
Remove jewellery before sleeping, showering or exercising where practical.
Wipe gently after wear.
Store separately when not in use.

STAINLESS STEEL

Selected Velune Lux pieces are crafted from stainless steel.

Stainless steel is valued for its durability and suitability for everyday jewellery. However, decorative finishes, plating, stones and other elements incorporated into a piece may require additional care.

Always follow the care recommendations provided for the complete piece rather than relying solely on the base material.

CUBIC ZIRCONIA & CRYSTALS

Cubic zirconia and crystal details can collect oils, cosmetics and everyday residue, which may reduce their sparkle over time.

Gently wipe them with a soft cloth after wear and avoid impact against hard surfaces.

Do not use abrasive materials that could scratch the stones or surrounding finish.

PEARLS

Pearls and pearl-style elements should be treated with particular care.

Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, lotions and household chemicals.

As a simple rule:

Put your jewellery on last and take it off first.

After wearing, gently wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth before storing it separately.

RINGS

Remove rings before activities that may expose them to excessive pressure, chemicals, moisture or impact.

For adjustable rings, make small adjustments gently and avoid repeatedly bending the band, as excessive force may weaken or damage the piece over time.
